Pretty as a Rose

Inspired by the beautiful cover of Spin-Off magazine's summer 2013 issue, I set out to create a stunning shawl that would capture the essence of that image. With some yarn from my stash already dyed in the same captivating color palette, I felt motivated to bring my vision to life. After flipping through the pattern, I contemplated creating it in a unique way that reflected my personal style. I was particularly drawn to the charming flower motif, but as I experimented, I found it difficult to achieve the exact look I desired. So, I embraced my creativity, making several adjustments and ultimately adding a beautiful bead for an elegant touch. Once I solidified my design plan, the shawl knit up quickly, making the process both enjoyable and rewarding. The teeth of the shawl feature a classic flower motif, while the delicate border showcases lovely Shetland rose buds.
