YARN: This pattern requires DK-weight yarn, with approximately: 70 yds / 64 m of Color 1 (C1), 70 yds / 64 m of Color 2 (C2), 50 yds / 46 m of Color 3 (C3), 50 yds / 46 m of Color 4 (C4), 30 yds / 28 m of Color 5 (C5), and 30 yds / 28 m of Color 6 (C6). You can mix and match colors to create a unique design!
Sample Yarn: For the sample knit, we used Rowan Creative Linen (219 yds / 200 m per 100 g skein, 50% linen, 50% cotton). We recommend the following colors: 644 Phlox as C1, 628 Ochre as C2, 642 Pink Mist as C3, 621 Natural as C4, 624 Foggy as C5, and 634 Squawl as C6. This combination creates a stunning and textured look that is perfect for any season.
NEEDLES & NOTIONS: You will need a size 7 US / 4.5 mm circular needle that is 24” / 60 cm long to complete this cowl. Additionally, don’t forget a tapestry needle for weaving in the yarn ends at the finish!
GAUGE: Achieve a gauge of 19 stitches and 35 rounds in Garter stitch = 4” / 10 cm. Checking your gauge is essential for ensuring the perfect fit for your cowl.
