I proudly present this unique mitten pattern, inspired by the iconic proportions of the Eiffel Tower—a mini-spring escape to Paris, designed just for you!
The stunning examples showcased here were knit using two vibrant colors of sport weight yarn (Spunky Eclectic in Super Nova). The finished size of these mittens measures approximately 24cm x 10cm. Additionally, I crafted another delightful pair using fingering weight yarn, featuring Artyarns Ultramerino 4 and KnitPicks Palette, with a finished size of 23.5cm x 9cm. Both sets were completed on no. 0 (2.0mm) double-pointed needles (7 inches in length), requiring a total of around 300 yards of yarn for two beautiful mittens.
For the gauge in sport weight yarn, you’ll find 15 stitches equal to 5cm and 16.5 rows equal to 5cm. If you opt for fingering weight yarn, the gauge adjusts to 16.5 stitches per 5cm and 19 rows per 5cm, all seamlessly knit in the round following an easy-to-follow chart. If you desire slightly larger mittens, feel free to increase your needle size; however, I highly recommend using sport weight yarn for the best results and coziness.
