Puddletown Shawl

Collaborating with talented women in the knitting community is truly one of my greatest joys, which is why I was thrilled when the Puddletown Knitting Guild proposed that my fiber bestie and I create a stunning Knit-A-Long (KAL) project for their members. The excitement was palpable, and I couldn’t help but squeal out loud at the opportunity! We decided to design a fun and airy summertime shawl project that beautifully pairs Knitted Wit’s newest Fairy Floss yarn with my all-time favorite yarn, Victory Sock. It was truly a dream collaboration.

The result of our creative efforts is a gorgeous top-down triangular shawl featuring simple mesh lace patterns—because that’s just my summertime jam! This design is crafted to highlight the unique textural interplay between delicate lace-weight mohair and soft sock yarn, all showcased in the same enchanting colorway. Not only is this shawl a delightful addition to any summer wardrobe, but it’s also perfect for special occasions. I can't wait to wear it to Yarn Prom, where it will truly shine!
