This beanie pattern includes comprehensive directions for head circumferences ranging from 47cm to 58cm, making it suitable for everyone from young children to large adults. Whether you prefer knitting in one piece or in the round, this pattern is adaptable to your choice. Basic knitting skills are all you need! You should be comfortable casting on, casting off, knitting, purling, and decreasing by knitting two stitches together.
For this project, you will need just one 50g ball of any chunky yarn (approximately 65m) that meets the correct gauge, along with small scraps of chunky wool in various rainbow colors (approximately 4m each). In the sample pictures, I used Texere Chunky (currently discontinued) and Wendy Mode Chunky, both of which work beautifully for this beanie. An excellent alternative is Stylecraft Special Chunky, known for its vibrant colors and softness.
