Yarn Information: For this project, we recommend using Fuzz Family Yarn in Big Brother Yarn, made from 100% Superwash Merino, with a yardage of 140 yards (128 meters) in the stunning Rainy Cake colorway. For the slouchy hat shown in the photos, 135 yards (123 meters) were utilized. The sample shown is designed to fit an Adult S/M size.
Needles Required: You'll need a set of circular needles in various sizes: US 5 (3.75 mm) - 16” (41 cm) circular needles for the cast-on, US 7 (4.5 mm) - 16” (41 cm) circular needles, and US 9 (5.5 mm) - 16” (41 cm) circular needles along with US 9 (5.5 mm) double-pointed needles (DPNs) for working in the round.
Finished Dimensions: The slouchy hat is available in two sizes: Adult S/M and L/XL, fitting head circumferences of 18-21 inches (45.7-53 cm) and 22.5-24 inches (57-61 cm) respectively. This design ensures a comfortable fit that can accommodate a variety of head shapes.
