I affectionately call this piece ‘Collar with sleeves’ because I truly love a warm neck. The REBEL cardigan also features an incredible shoulder fit, making it a stylish and comfortable choice!

The REBEL cardigan is expertly knitted seamlessly from the top down, utilizing two yarns held together throughout for a rich texture. To begin, you will work the collar separately, ensuring a snug fit around the neck. Next, you'll pick up the back stitches from the collar edge to shape the upper back with carefully placed increases. Stitches are then picked up from each shoulder edge so you can incorporate the sleeve caps, creating a beautiful yoke while making strategic increases for both the body and sleeves down to the crucial sleeve separation point. Once the sleeves are separated, their stitches are placed on hold, and you’ll cast on underarm stitches to continue working the body of the cardigan all the way to the bottom. Following the completion of the body, the sleeves are knitted top down in the round, finishing at the wrist. Remarkably, aside from weaving in the ends, no further finishing is required for this stunning piece.

This cardigan is designed with versatility in mind and is meant to be worn with approximately 27 cm (10½”) of positive ease for smaller sizes and narrower body types, while larger sizes and busty silhouettes can enjoy a slightly lesser amount of positive ease for a more tailored fit.
