Knitting Pattern for a Cozy Cable Knit Hat

For this hat, you'll need size 10mm needles or the appropriate size to achieve the correct tension. Gather your supplies: a cable needle, a yarn needle for sewing up, and 200g of super bulky yarn, which is approximately 116 meters in length. Additionally, you'll want a pom pom maker (or a simple card) for crafting the perfect pom pom to top off your hat!
In our sample, we used the beautiful DMC Aurora yarn, but feel free to experiment with other super bulky yarn options like Malabrigo Rasta or your own favorite art yarn for a unique twist.
This unique hat is knitted sideways, featuring an elegant cable design that adds both texture and style. After completing the cable portion, you’ll pick up stitches around the bottom to knit a cozy ribbed band.
