During this weekend, my dear friend Rhonnie paid me a visit. As a fellow knitter, she quickly noticed an earlier version of the hat nestled among my pile of Works in Progress (WIPs). Her keen eye sparked immediate curiosity, and when she learned that the pattern hadn’t been finished and had been simmering for over a year, her disappointment quickly turned into encouragement. Rhonnie’s enthusiasm revitalized my passion for this project, ultimately leading to the finished hat being named in her honor.
