We all need hope in our lives, especially those affected by cancer, as well as their families and loved ones. This sentiment rings especially true for many individuals who have bravely shared their stories with me. Last year, we participated in a meaningful walk, proudly showcasing our support through colorful knitted creations. One story that deeply resonated with me is that of a close friend who underwent elective double mastectomies after losing all the women in her family to breast cancer. Her journey is close to my heart, and it highlights the importance of solidarity and support.
