The recommended needles are US 6 (4mm) 16”/40cm circular needles, though you can also use double-pointed needles or any size that will help you achieve the correct gauge. Be sure to check your gauge, which should be 20 stitches and 28 rows = 4”/10cm in stockinette stitch.
