When envisioning the ethereal beauty of Rivendell as depicted in the movie "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey," it's the harmonious blend of nature and architecture that captivates the imagination. Delicate scroll work elegantly mimics the flowing lines of the surrounding natural landscape, creating an atmosphere where everything is intertwined—both delicate and breathtakingly beautiful.

Inspired by the enchantment of this Elvish design, I focused on capturing its essence in these exquisite mitts. Notably, several scenes in the film feature a stunning gazebo—an open, airy structure that embodies strength in its graceful lines. The sweeping curves of the gazebo are beautifully echoed in Gandalf's chair during the memorable scenes at the [White Council][1]. This theme of elegance and unity is reflected throughout the entire design.

To encapsulate the enchanting lines of this gazebo, I meticulously designed the back of the mitts, starting with sturdy base pillars on the cuff. This foundation seamlessly transitions into intricate scrolling cables and twisted stitches that flow gracefully up the back of the hand. The unique design not only showcases magnificent artistry but also offers warmth and style, making these mitts an essential accessory for any knitting enthusiast.

Size: One size fits most. When blocked, the mitts maintain their shape while allowing for comfortable wear, making them perfect for everyday use or elegant occasions.

Embrace the charm of Rivendell with this stunning pattern, and let your knitting journey take you to new heights of creativity. Perfect for both novice and experienced knitters, this pattern invites you to explore intricate techniques while creating a functional yet fashionable piece. Don't miss the chance to be part of this exclusive design, available only for Yarn Club members until its public release.
