Robin's Blanket.
We’re excited to announce that photos have been added to our popular knitting pattern, which was originally released as a mystery KAl (Knit Along). Due to valuable feedback from our community, we've included comprehensive photos in the main pattern to guide you through each step. Now you can enjoy a visual reference along with the instructions!
This versatile blanket can be crafted using either 4-ply or DK yarn, allowing for various creative options. Choose to design your blanket in a single solid color for a classic look, or opt for a vibrant striped pattern featuring your main color in between. For those using 4-ply yarn, here are the yardage requirements: Stripes call for 12 x 15/35/65/105/150 meters of contrasting colors, plus a main color (MC) totaling 90/120/230/380/430 meters. If you prefer to knit it in one color, you will need 230/500/1000/1700/2400 meters based on the sizes. For DK yarn enthusiasts, the requirements change slightly: Stripes will need 12 x 20/45/80/140/195 meters, with the MC requiring 120/160/300/500/560 meters. For a one-color design, you’ll need 300/650/1300/2200/3100 meters, depending on the chosen size.
In terms of needle size, use 3mm needles for 4-ply yarn and 3.75mm needles for DK yarn to achieve the best results in your knitting project. The blanket sizes are generous, with 4-ply options measuring 30x39/43x63/57x94/72x125/85x149 cm, while DK sizes measure 45x52/65x84/86x125/108x167/128x199 cm.
