Rooted Sweater

This knitting pattern lends itself to creativity! My sample was crafted using a variety of colors from Sweet Georgia Yarn’s Tough Love Sock yarn, with each plant chart rendered in a different hue. However, you can create stunning results with just 1 to 3 contrasting colors of your choice. This flexibility makes it easy to customize your sweater to reflect your personal style and aesthetic.

As for sizing, the measurements provided are for the finished garment, so it’s crucial to choose the right size for your comfort. When selecting your size, please aim for at least 4 inches of positive ease; this will ensure a relaxed and comfortable fit that enhances your knitting experience. Our testing indicated that sizes smaller than this may feel a bit snug and restrictive, so take this into consideration as you make your selection.

Finally, remember to check your gauge throughout your knitting journey. It’s especially important to test your gauge in stockinette stitch for both solid colors and colorwork, as this can impact the final fit and appearance of your beautiful Rooted Sweater.
