The name Roots Wrap carries a beautiful double meaning that resonates deeply with knitters and nature lovers alike. On a more personal level, the design of this wrap allows me to connect to my family’s rich heritage on the stunning west coast of Ireland, where sailors proudly donned sweaters adorned with their unique cable knitting patterns. Since my inspirational visit to Ireland a couple of years ago, I have felt a creative spark to develop and explore cable knitting designs further. The Roots Wrap is one of my earliest creations, yet I have a strong feeling it will remain a perennial favorite among knitters.
