Don’t let my husband in on this secret (he worked for CN for many years), but the first person that came to my mind when I heard about the Crazy Train theme was my mother. For over 20 years, riding a train through the majestic **Canadian Rockies** was at the very top of her travel bucket list. In **2012**, she finally had the incredible opportunity to embark on that journey, and she often reminisces about that unforgettable trip as one of her favorites. With her milestone birthday this year, I thought creating this sock design would be a beautiful way to commemorate her amazing experience. Who knows? This design might just inspire some of the participants in the **Knit-A-Long (KAL)** to jump on board their own adventures!
