Sea to Sky Beanie Knitting Pattern

Introducing the Sea to Sky Beanie, a stunning knitting pattern inspired by the enchanting Nordic snowflake designs and named after one of my favorite hikes in the breathtaking Squamish, British Columbia, Canada. Surrounded by the awe-inspiring landscapes of BC, I find endless inspiration for my designs. This beanie's unique colorwork pattern is sure to make a statement wherever you wear it, capturing the essence of the great outdoors!

This beanie is skillfully knit in the round, progressing from the bottom up, and features the stranded colorwork technique, making it an engaging project for intermediate knitters. To successfully complete the Sea to Sky Beanie, you should be familiar with essential knitting skills including knitting, purling, colorwork, and decreasing stitches. Depending on your knitting speed, you can expect this project to take around 3-5 hours to finish.

Yarn and Needles

- 40g (105 yards) of main color and 15g (40 yards) of contrast color in DK weight yarn (size 3)

- One US 7 needle (4.5mm), either 16” circular needles or double-pointed needles will work perfectly.
