Seedy Stripes
A very good friend of mine discovered last year that her 5-year-old son has leukemia. He has bravely undergone nine months of treatment, tackling the toughest challenges with remarkable strength. As he prepares to embark on the latest phase of his treatment, his immune system is beginning to strengthen, allowing him to return to a somewhat normal childhood experience. However, his treatment journey will continue for the next three and a half years. To support this incredible family with travel and medical expenses, a silent auction is being held, and I felt compelled to contribute by creating a unique knitting pattern. The prototype of this pattern will be generously donated to the auction, with all proceeds going directly to their family.
This versatile knitting pattern is designed for a variety of hat sizes, ensuring it can be enjoyed by everyone. Available in three sizes, you can choose from: * Child/Teen (20"/50.8 cm) * Small Adult (22"/55.88 cm) * Large Adult (24"/61 cm).
Additionally, the accompanying cowl is customizable and can be crafted in styles ranging from fitted to infinity, making it perfect for any look or occasion. This pattern not only provides warmth and comfort but also serves as a meaningful way to support a vital cause. By knitting this hat and cowl set, you’re not only creating something beautiful but also contributing to an important mission that impacts the life of a young cancer warrior. Join us in this heartfelt effort, and let your creativity help make a difference!
