Are you ready to get in the holiday spirit with some delightful knitting? If you feel like knitting charming Christmas socks, grab your favorite yarn and needles and join us for this fun knitting project. The Selda socks feature a beautiful colorwork pattern that will not only keep your feet warm but also add a festive flair to your winter wardrobe. Happy knitting!
**Sizes Available:** The Selda socks come in multiple sizes: S, M, L, and XL, with foot circumferences measuring 7.3", 8.5", 9", and 10" respectively. This makes them suitable for a variety of foot sizes, ensuring that you can craft the perfect pair for yourself or as a heartfelt gift.
**Gauge:** To achieve the beautiful pattern and proper fit, maintain a gauge of 34 stitches and 42 rounds per 4 inches/10 cm in stockinette stitch using a US size 1 ½ (2.5mm) needle.
**Yarn Requirements:** You'll need sock yarn in two contrasting colors to create these lovely Christmas socks. Depending on the size you choose to knit, the total yarn yardage required is approximately 90-100 grams. For size S/EUR 40, you will need around 70 grams of the main color (MC) and 20 grams of the contrasting color (CC).
**Needles and Tools Needed:** Make sure you have the right tools for this project! You will need double-pointed needles (DPNs) in size US 1 (2.25mm) and 1 ½ (2.5mm), or you can opt for long circular needles of the same sizes. Additionally, gather a cable needle, tapestry needle, scissors, and 2 stitch markers to assist you along the way.
