Sequence
Welcome to our latest knitting pattern! This versatile Sequence Hat is designed to be worked in the round from the bottom up, perfect for knitters of all skill levels. In this unique pattern, we use Charcoal as Color A and Gamboge as Color B for the beanie version. For the stylish slouchy hat (as seen in the top photo), we’ve reversed the colors, featuring Gamboge as Color A and Charcoal as Color B. This creative color arrangement allows you to knit both hats using just two skeins of yarn, making it not only a fun project but also a budget-friendly one!
To easily achieve finished sizes that vary from those listed in the pattern, simply adjust your gauge. Working with a tighter gauge of 6 stitches per inch for your ribbing (instead of the 5.5 stitches in the original pattern) will result in a snug forehead circumference of 16 inches for smaller sizes and 18.5 inches for larger sizes. Conversely, if you prefer a looser fit, a gauge of 5 stitches per inch will provide a finished forehead circumference of 19 inches for smaller sizes and an ample 22.5 inches for larger sizes. This flexibility in sizing ensures that your finished hat will be a perfect fit for friends and family alike!
Whether you're looking to stay cozy during the colder months or searching for a thoughtful gift, this Sequence Hat pattern is an excellent choice. Don’t miss out on the chance to create this stylish accessory that showcases your knitting skills while also celebrating your personal style. Happy knitting!
