SIZING & DIMENSIONS

The Seraph Hat comes in two sizes: 20” / 51cm and 23.5” / 60cm, allowing you to create the perfect fit for yourself or as a gift for a loved one.

MATERIALS

For an optimal knitting experience, you'll need the following materials: Yarn in 2-ply merino sock, with a yardage of 325m / 355yds per 100g. The sample hat uses Umbala Yarns 2-ply Merino Twist, which offers superior softness and comfort. Here’s what you need:

  • Color 1 (Main Color - MC): Moonlight (80g)
  • Color 2 (Contrasting Color - CC1): Seraph (22g)

Needles: You'll need 2.75mm and 3.5mm needles to achieve the perfect gauge. Additionally, gather some essential notions like a stitch marker (1 is sufficient, but you may want more if you wish to mark each repeat) and a tapestry needle to weave in the ends once you’re finished.

GAUGE: Achieve a gauge of 24 stitches x 36 rows = 4” / 10cm in stockinette stitch on the larger needles, after blocking for best results.

NOTES

The Seraph Hat is designed to be worked from the brim to the crown, providing flexibility with the brim and overall length according to your preference. To enhance your finished project, consider adding a trendy pompom or a stylish tassel as a final touch, bringing an extra flair to your hand-knit hat.

Whether you're knitting for yourself or as a thoughtful handmade gift, the Seraph Hat pattern is sure to inspire creativity and warmth. Get ready to enjoy the process of creating a stunning accessory that showcases your unique knitting skills!
