Finished Measurements

Size: Medium - 18 cm (7 inches) palm circumference, 16.5 cm (6.5 inches) wrist circumference, and 21 cm (8.25 inches) long (after blocking), ensuring a comfortable fit for most adults.

Yarn Requirements

For this knitting project, we recommend using Rauma Finull PT2; a luxurious 100% Norwegian wool yarn that provides excellent warmth and durability. Each ball contains 175 m (191 yds) per 50g (1.8 oz). You'll need:

  • MC (Main Color): 401 (Off White): 122.5 m (134 yds), 35g
  • CC (Contrasting Color): 406 (Beige): 17.5 m (19 yds), 5g

You can also substitute with other heavy fingering or sport weight yarns to achieve similar results.

Gauge

To ensure the best fit for your mitts, aim for a gauge of 26 stitches and 44 rounds = 4 inches (10 cm) in stockinette stitch, after blocking. Proper gauge is key for a successful knit!

Recommended Needles

We suggest using US size 1.5 (2.5mm) and US size 2 (2.75mm) double pointed needles, or any other size that helps you obtain the correct gauge.

Notions Needed

Gather your crafting supplies! You'll need a tapestry needle for weaving in ends, and a stitch marker for keeping track of your rounds.
