Between November 11th and December 31st, 2013, we proudly donated 50% of the proceeds from our discounted knitting patterns to Doctors Without Borders (MSF), specifically to support those affected by Typhoon Haiyan/Yolanda. We are thrilled to announce a total donation of $905 USD, thanks to our wonderful community of knitters. You all rock—thank you for your generous support!

Introducing our beautifully designed top-down, center-out triangular shawl, a perfect blend of elegance and inspiration. This pattern draws creativity from the beloved Alpaca Baby Blanket by designer Marie Grace, as well as the subtly textured simplicity found in Jared Flood's iconic Romney Kerchief. The design is versatile and timeless, making it an ideal project for knitters of all skill levels.
The knitting instructions are provided in both charted and line-by-line formats, ensuring that everyone can easily follow along. We recommend using sport-weight yarn with size 9 US needles to create a light and airy fabric that drapes beautifully. However, this pattern is highly adaptable! Feel free to experiment with lace or fingering weight yarn on smaller needles for a delicate finish, or opt for heavier yarn and larger needles for a cozier shawl. Your creativity is the only limit—please plan your yardage accordingly to achieve the desired effect.

Note on PDF Versions: We currently offer two versions of our PDF pattern for download. Please be aware that the "alternate" version is designed for those who have experienced printing or displaying issues with the original PDF file. If you encounter any difficulties with the file titled "Shaelyn_sh," we recommend trying the alternative version for a smoother experience.
Happy knitting, and thank you for choosing our pattern to create your next beautiful shawl!
