Shoulder Seasons Scarf

$5.50

As a passionate traveler and avid knitter, I am well-acquainted with the beauty of shoulder seasons—the enchanting times of spring and fall. These transitional periods provide the ideal backdrop for wearing a delicate DK-weight lace knit scarf, designed to offer the perfect amount of warmth during cooler evenings and misty days. This exquisite scarf is not only versatile but also serves as a fantastic project for intermediate-level knitters eager to enhance their skills.

For this lovely lace accessory, I utilized less than one full skein of the exquisite Miss Babs Killington DK yarn. This high-quality yarn lends an elegant drape and warmth to the finished piece, making it an ideal knit for both casual wear and special occasions.

Before you dive into your knitting adventure, please take note of the following ERRATA to ensure your project goes smoothly: 1. In the abbreviations section, S2kp should be corrected to Sk2p: slip one stitch, knit two together, pass the slipped stitch over; 2. An error appears near the top of page 4 and mid-page 5—where it instructs you to "repeat rows 5-12 a total of 12 times," it should actually read "repeat rows 5-8 a total of 12 times"; 3. Finally, for the written directions at the end of the wrong-side rows (even-numbered rows) in the second pattern (found on pages 4 and 5), please note that the last 7 stitches for rows 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, and 16 should read: k2, p1tbl, k2, p1tbl, k1.

Embark on this delightful knitting project and create an accessory that embodies the spirit of travel and the cozy charm of the shoulder seasons. Happy knitting!
