Introducing a stunning cardigan pattern inspired by a beautiful loop at one of my favorite Nordic ski destinations. This unique cardigan is designed to be worked from the top down in one seamless piece, featuring stylish false stocking stitch 'seams' against a predominantly reverse stockinette background. With its roomy pockets and extra-long sleeves, this cardigan combines comfort and functionality, making it a perfect addition to your wardrobe for any occasion. The total length of the finished garment is approximately 80 cm / 32 inches, ensuring a flattering fit for a variety of body types.

For optimal results, a provisional cast-on is recommended for the back collar sections, while a cable cast-on is suggested for the pockets, ensuring that all elements of your cardigan are beautifully crafted. In terms of yarn, I used Queensland Collection's Kathmandu and Silk Road, both of which are categorized as DK weight with a recommended gauge of 20 stitches per 10 cm (4 inches). If you're considering substituting yarn, I suggest opting for a worsted weight for the best match and overall structure of the cardigan. The garment is beautifully showcased in the color 407 of Queensland Collection, Kathmandu, making it a visual standout in any knitting collection.

Correction: Please note that on the top half of page 3, all right-side (RS) rows should begin with "work LEFT collar as established" and conclude with "work RIGHT collar as established." This detail is crucial for maintaining the integrity of the pattern as you create your piece. Happy knitting!
