I initially designed this hat using Betta Knit Cool Wool, but after experimenting with Third Piece Funky Chunky yarn, I absolutely fell in love with the results! The fabric has a beautiful texture that truly enhances the look of the hat.

I can easily knit it while commuting on the bus, and by the time I reach my destination—approximately 20 minutes later—I have a stylish and cozy hat ready to wear! This makes it a perfect project for busy individuals who love knitting on the go.
**Gauge:** It’s essential to measure and check your gauge to ensure the perfect fit. The gauge for this pattern is 11 stitches x 12 rows = 4 inches square when unstretched. Our finished hat features a brim circumference of 18 inches, with the ability to stretch to 21-22 inches, making it versatile for various head sizes.
**Supply List:** To create this fantastic hat, you will need a bulky Category #6 yarn, approximately 70 yards, and a US 15 / 10mm 16-inch circular needle. Additionally, have a set of double-pointed needles of the same size ready for those finishing touches. Don't forget a large needle for weaving in ends and a stitch marker to keep your place. For the finishing touch, I recommend adding a pom pom of your choice—I opted for a fun faux fur pom that really elevates the design!
