Yarn: For the calf-high sock, you'll need 400 yards (366 meters) of sock yarn that meets the required gauge. Our sample was knit using Euro Sock by MadTosh in the beautiful colorway of Translation in Size Small.
Gauge: Achieve a precise gauge of 34 stitches = 4" / 10 cm for optimal fit and comfort.
Needle Size: Use two US 1.5 / 2.5 mm 16" (40 cm) circular needles for the foot section, or feel free to select needles that suit your preferred method of small-circumference knitting while still achieving the necessary gauge.
