Sparkler Scarf or Stole

Free

Inspired by the dazzling beauty of sparklers on the 4th of July, our Sparkler Scarf adds the perfect burst of festive fireworks to your accessory collection. This soft, flowy scarf or stole is a delightful addition to any outfit, making it a wonderful piece for warm summer evenings or cool autumn days.

The Sparkler is designed as a rectangular-shaped scarf or stole, available in three convenient sizes. It is expertly crafted flat from the short end, allowing for easy handling and a smooth crafting experience. Stunning beaded sparklers adorn both ends of the scarf, while a bold and eye-catching motif marks the center of the piece, making it a true showstopper. Each bead pattern is charted for convenience, and beads are placed on both right-side and wrong-side rows using the popular crochet hook method, ensuring that even novice knitters can achieve beautiful results.

This pattern is entirely charted for ease of use. To replicate the gorgeous design as shown, you will need a total of 409 (617, 825) Size 6 silver-lined clear seed beads, which amounts to approximately 28 (42, 55) grams (about 15 beads per gram). Note that the bead count is a more accurate measurement than the gram estimate. Each bead ‘spray’ in the elegant edging design requires 52 beads multiplied by 6 (10, 14) sprays, while the central motif takes 97 beads, applicable for all sizes of the scarf.

Please be aware that the yarn used for our sample is no longer available; however, we’ve provided some excellent substitution suggestions in the Kit Builder tool below to help you find the perfect yarn for your creation.
