Spindrift Fingerless Mitts

$4.00

Introducing the Spindrift Fingerless Mitts, the perfect winter accessory to keep your hands warm while allowing for dexterity. These beautifully designed mitts feature a stunning mirrored cable pattern and an extra-long cuff that effectively shields your wrists from biting winds during the colder months. Originally created for the November 2017 Yarn Crush club, these mitts blend functionality and style seamlessly.

Finished Size: The cuff and hand measure 5 inches when unstretched, accommodating up to 8 inches when stretched to fit a variety of hand sizes.

Yarn: For this pattern, we recommend using Vocabulary Yarns Deliciate, a luxurious 100% Merino wool that provides warmth and softness. Each skein contains 181 yards (100 grams). The sample mitts were knit in the lovely Cara Cara colorway, utilizing approximately 140 yards of yarn.

Needles: You will need a set of 5 double-pointed needles or your preferred method for knitting in the round. The recommended needle size is 6 US (4.0 mm), but feel free to use any size that helps you achieve the desired gauge.

Gauge: To ensure your mitts come out perfectly, aim for a gauge of 19 stitches and 26 rows over 4 inches in blocked stockinette stitch when knitting in the round.

Difficulty Level: This pattern is categorized as intermediate, making it a suitable challenge for knitters looking to enhance their skills.
