Stampede
Entrelac is one of my favorite knitting techniques that every knitter should explore. I love its modular nature, featuring distinct triangles that start and end every other row, alongside the center rectangles knitted seamlessly onto the piece as you progress. If you enjoyed my previous entrelac wrap pattern, Birch, then you'll absolutely adore 'Stampede,' which can be considered Birch's big sister, taking your knitting experience to the next level!
Inspired by the stunning colorway named 'Pendleton Roundup,' Anne of Alpha B beautifully captured the essence of Oregon’s famous fall rodeo on a luxurious silk-merino base. I experimented with various leaf lace motifs before tailoring one to create a unique path of diamond shapes that evoke the image of hoofprints. With the rodeo theme of the yarn and the zigzag pattern of entrelac, this project was destined to be named 'Stampede'!
'Stampede' is now available for purchase individually and can also be found as part of the [Indie Lace e-collection][2], which features 12 exquisite shawl patterns highlighting hand-dyed yarns from some of my favorite independent dyers. Each piece in this collection showcases the artistry and creativity of indie yarn makers, making them a must-have for any knitting enthusiast.
Rest assured, all of my knitting patterns undergo thorough professional testing and technical editing to ensure accuracy and a smooth knitting experience. Both detailed charts and comprehensive written instructions are included, making it easy for knitters of all skill levels to create stunning projects with confidence. Dive into the world of entrelac with 'Stampede' and add a touch of rodeo flair to your knitting collection!
