StarPainter Fingerless Mitts

Introducing the StarPainter fingerless mitts! Designed to complement my StarPainter shawl, these beautiful mitts are inspired by the iconic painting Starry Night by Vincent Van Gogh. With plenty of Morning Bright Organic Merino/Nylon sock yarn left over from my shawl project, I realized that the ripple section of the shawl would translate perfectly into cozy and stylish fingerless mitts. Both the left and right mitt are crafted to be identical, ensuring a cohesive look.

**Finished Size:** Each mitt measures 7 inches in length and 7 1/2 inches around the palm, making them a great fit for most hand sizes.

**Materials Needed:** For this project, you'll require approximately 150 yards of fingering weight yarn in two contrasting colors. In the sample shown above, I used Morning Bright Organic Merino/Nylon Sock Yarn, with Starry as the Main Colour (MC) and Night as the Contrast Colour (CC). If you prefer a minimalist look and want to knit the mitts in a single color, you'll still need about 150 yards of fingering weight yarn.
