Stitch In Time

In November 2021, I created a variation on this charming design and am excited to share the updated pattern, now featuring this unique modification. The inspiration for the Stitch In Time Blanket stemmed from my passion for knitting mitred squares, which are not only beautiful but also a delightful knitting experience. However, crafting larger projects can often prove cumbersome and challenging to transport, especially as they increase in size.

This led me to the idea of designing a cozy blanket made up of smaller, manageable pieces. The Stitch In Time Blanket allows you to unleash your creativity with themed blocks while remaining compact enough to fit into a small project bag, making it an ideal choice for on-the-go knitting.

The blanket consists of 12 intricately designed blocks, each representing a different month of the year. After knitting each square, I added a decorative border and meticulously seamed them together to create a stunning final piece.
