SIZES
Choose from sizes 1 (2, 3, 4) with a finished circumference of 38 (43, 48, 53) cm / 15 (17, 19, 21) inches. The finished height measures 10 (10, 12, 12) cm / 4 (4, 4.75, 4.75) inches. After blocking, the pattern comfortably fits head sizes ranging from 41-45 (46-50, 51-55, 56-60) cm / 16-17.75 (18-19.75, 20-21.75, 22-23.75) inches, ensuring a snug yet comfortable fit for everyone.
GAUGE
The gauge for this pattern is measured over a 10 x 10 cm swatch, worked flat in Double Knitting Stitch on your main needle, after blocking. Since Double Knitting creates a double-thickness fabric, remember that you'll need to cast on twice the usual number of stitches to achieve the correct gauge. The stitch counts listed below refer to one side of the fabric for ease of counting, but don’t forget to double the number of stitches given to accurately check your gauge.
