Nothing fancy here, just stripes!

This straightforward and stylish pattern is designed for cuff-down striped socks, making it perfect for both beginner and experienced knitters. The socks feature a classic French heel and a lovely star toe, providing comfort and a great fit. Whether you’re crafting socks as a gift or for yourself, this pattern allows for customization with your choice of colors.

Size Options: S, M, L – ensure a perfect fit for every foot!

Yarn Requirements: For this project, we recommend using Canon Hand Dyes Lewis MCN Twist Sock, which is a luxurious blend comprising 80% merino, 10% cashmere, and 10% nylon (361 m / 100 g). You can also opt for other fingering weight yarns that suit your preference. Choose two contrasting or complementary colors for the striping to create a unique design that reflects your personal style.

Note: The required yardage will vary depending on the length of the foot, so plan accordingly to ensure you have enough yarn for your project!

Needles: A US 2 (2.5 mm) circular needle with a length of 40'' / 100 cm is ideal for using the magic loop method; alternatively, you can use double-pointed needles (dpns). Be sure to adjust your needle size as necessary to achieve the appropriate gauge for your socks.

Gauge: To achieve the best results, aim for a gauge of 15 stitches x 21 rounds = 2x2'' / 5x5 cm in stockinette stitch worked in the round (after blocking). Proper gauge ensures that your socks will fit correctly and look vibrant.

Additional Supplies: You will need 6 stitch markers to help keep track of your rounds, as well as a tapestry needle for weaving in ends once your project is complete.

Create a pair of eye-catching striped socks that are not only warm and comfortable but also a stylish addition to your wardrobe. Happy knitting!
