Summer Casual for AG , Gotz and other 18'' Dolls

Introducing one of my own delightful designs for a quick and easy knit project that's perfect for both beginners and seasoned knitters! This versatile pattern features stylish 3/4 ribbed tights and a relaxed, loose-fitting sweater that employs wraps and drop stitches to create lovely long stitch details. The sweater sides are cleverly seamed with 2 stylish buttons on each shoulder, adding an extra touch of charm. It’s designed to be a fast and adorable knit, making it a fantastic addition to your wardrobe!

Additionally, this pattern includes written instructions and photo illustrations for creating an adorable hair tie and a pair of cute sandals, ensuring a complete ensemble that’s as fun to wear as it is to make. You’ll love how quickly this project comes together!

For the tights, you'll need approximately 20 grams of DK Yarn (Weight 3), while the sweater requires 10 grams of a main color (Color A) and 10 grams of a contrast color (Color B). Be sure to have a tapestry needle on hand for finishing your pieces.

You'll also need 6 buttons—4 for the shoulder closures and 2 for the sandals—as well as a ribbon for the hair tie. For added durability, consider using elastic thread in your project.

When it comes to crafting the sandals, you will need regular or ordinary thin foam craft. Alternatively, you can use foam craft sheets or cork sheets with a thickness of 5mm to 6mm (about 1/4”). If you prefer flatter sandals, layering 1 or 2 sheets of ordinary foam craft will work well.

For assembly, don’t forget UHU All Purpose or Super Glue for a secure hold. A thin pointed sewing needle will be useful, along with sharp pointed scissors or an X-Acto knife for precise cuts and craftsmanship.
