Introducing our beautifully designed Summer Season Socks knitting pattern, perfect for adding a touch of elegance to your warm-weather wardrobe! This stunning sock pattern features a central cable running up the front of the foot and leg, surrounded by intricate twisted stitches and an airy lace stitch pattern on either side. The back of the leg is complemented by a clean, plain stocking stitch, allowing for a seamless transition, though the charming stitch pattern from the front can easily be incorporated into the back for those who wish to add even more detail.

This versatile pattern includes clear written instructions as well as a helpful chart for the cable panel, making it suitable for knitters of various skill levels, from beginners to advanced enthusiasts. The Summer Season Socks pattern offers two leg lengths: a classic mid-calf length for traditional sock lovers and a trendy shortie version for a chic, contemporary look.

Needles: You will need 2.25mm (US 1) circular needles suitable for magic loop or double-pointed needles (dpns) or any size needed to achieve the required gauge. Don’t forget a cable needle for the cable stitches!

Gauge: To ensure your socks fit perfectly, aim for a gauge of 36 stitches and 48 rows per 4 inches using 2.25mm needles in stocking stitch.

Yarn: You'll require approximately 50g (212m/232yds) for the shortie version and 100g (464 yds/425 m) for the regular version of these luxurious 4-ply sock yarns. For the samples in size Medium, we used Norah George Yarns Super Sock – a delightful blend of 75% superwash merino and 25% nylon in the enchanting shade “Sea Pink” for the Shortie Socks, and Giddy Yarns Giddy Sock in “Wild Orchid,” made from the same high-quality blend, for the Regular Socks. The perfect yarn choice will ensure both comfort and durability.

Whether you're creating these beautiful socks for yourself or as a thoughtful gift for a fellow knitter, the Summer Season Socks pattern is sure to delight. Get started on this charming knitting adventure and elevate your sock game this summer!
