Summerlea--A Mystery KAL

Introducing the first Mystery KAL from talented designer Mindy Wilkes! Are you ready to dive into a fun knitting project just in time for the cooler weather ahead? Join our mystery KAL (Knit Along) and enjoy a thrilling knitting experience where each clue unveils a piece of the overall design!

With each clue, you'll receive detailed instructions that include both fully written directions and clear charts, where applicable. Rest assured, each clue is professionally tech edited to ensure that the pattern is both complete and error-free, allowing you to knit confidently and enjoyably.

Materials: To create your masterpiece, you'll need 3 colors of fingering weight yarn, totaling 1010 yards. Specifically, you will require 400 yards of Color A, 300 yards of Color B, and 310 yards of Color C. For best results, I recommend selecting 2 colors from semisolid or tonal yarns paired with 1 color of variegated or speckled yarn. Alternatively, you can opt for 3 colors of semisolid or tonal yarns for a beautifully cohesive look.

For my project, I chose to work with 3 exquisite shades of madelinetosh Twist Light. The colors I used are Coquette Deux (a lovely semisolid), Rocky Mountain High (a vibrant variegated option), and Posy (another stunning semisolid).

Needles: You will need 40” inch or longer circular needles in US size 6 (4 mm) to accommodate your project comfortably.

Notions: Don't forget to gather your knitting notions! A Yarn Needle is essential to seamlessly weave in your ends and finish your project with a polished look.
