Craft your own socks with the following dimensions: The leg measures 7 inches, as shown, with a total circumference of 7 [8 ½, 10] inches when unstretched. When moderately stretched, it expands to 8 ½ [10, 11 ½] inches. The foot length is 9 inches as displayed, featuring an unstretched circumference of 7 ½ [9, 10 ½] inches, and expands to 9 [10 ½, 12] inches when moderately stretched. The sample shown is in size S, highlighting the beautiful fit of this design.
Materials Required
To create this stunning pair of socks, you'll need the following materials:
• 1 skein of Schaefer Yarn Company Nichole, a luxurious blend of 80% superwash merino wool and 20% nylon, offering 140 g / 405 yds per skein. The color used in our example is Emma Jacobson.
• A set of 4 double-pointed needles in U.S. Size 2 (2.75 mm), or an alternative size to achieve your desired gauge. Alternatively, you may opt for one or two circular needles in the appropriate size for your comfort.
