Teeny Mouse

Free

These adorable teeny mice are super cute little toys that make perfect quick knitting projects to utilize those odds and ends of yarn. Whether you knit them as charming jewelry pieces, delightful keychain charms, or as unique gift toppers, they offer a delightful hand-knitted alternative to traditional ribbon bows. Designed by the talented Amanda Berry (@fluffandfuzz), each charming mouse is knitted using just a few grams of soft acrylic DK yarn on single pointed needles (as opposed to in the round). This project is perfect for confident beginners and above. The techniques involved include casting on and off, techniques such as knits and purls, increases and decreases, and a touch of seaming to finish beautifully. When completed, each mouse measures approximately 4cm in length (without the adorable tail). So gather your yarn scraps and get ready to create these charming knitted mice that are not just fun to make but also serve as thoughtful gifts or delightful keepsakes!
