YARN REQUIREMENTS: Choose from wool or a wool blend in fingering or sport weight. The following amounts are currently estimated:

YARDS NEEDED:

Main Color (MC): 930 (1039, 1149, 1258, 1368) yards

Contrasting Color (CC): 143 (164, 186, 208, 219) yards

METRES NEEDED:

Main Color (MC): 850 (950, 1050, 1150, 1250) metres

NEEDLE SIZES: You will need US 4 (3.5 mm) circular needles in 16” (40 cm) and 32” (80 cm) lengths, along with DPNs (or a longer circular needle for magic loop techniques), or a size necessary to achieve the desired gauge.

GAUGE: To achieve the perfect fit, aim for a gauge of 20 stitches and 28 rounds per 4 x 4” (10 x 10 cm) square using 3.5 mm needles, both in a single color and in the fair isle pattern, after wet blocking.
