Important Errata for Pre-2019 Pattern Editions:

Correction for Hand Instructions: For Rnd 1, start with 1 Kftb (Knit front to back) in the first stitch. Knit the entire round while increasing evenly by 2 stitches for Small, Medium, and Large, or by 4 stitches for Extra-large. The round should conclude with a total of 63 (67, 71, 73) stitches, depending on the size you are working on.

Correction for Thumb Instructions: In R1 and all odd-numbered rows that follow, adjust by reading: K 31 (33, 35, 36), Kftb, K to the end of the round. This will ensure your thumb is properly shaped and fits comfortably.

Continue to repeat Rnds 17 and 18, increasing the number of stitches knitted between the two Kftb stitches by two with each odd round. Your total stitch count should equal 84 (90, 94, 100) stitches. For the thumb, the total number of stitches should be 22 (24, 24, 28) stitches, allowing for a snug yet flexible fit.

In the next round, knit 31 (31, 35, 36) stitches, then place the 22 (24, 24, 28) thumb stitches on a stitch holder, and continue by knitting around to finish the round. This method will help achieve a beautifully crafted thumb area.

By following these updated instructions and corrections, you can create a stunning and perfectly fitting knitted piece.
