Together Hat

This beautiful knit hat is the perfect companion piece to my Together Stole, featuring a modified lace and bobble pattern that beautifully complements the stole’s design. Knit in the round from the bottom up, this hat offers a seamless and polished look. I personally utilized a tubular 2 x 2 rib cast-on technique for a refined edge, but feel free to use your preferred cast-on method that works best for you. Crafted with just one skein of yarn, you'll have enough to complete the largest size, and likely enough left over to create a fluffy pom pom if you choose to add that special touch. For this project, I chose Jilly and Kiddles Ideal DK in the stunning colorway “Meet Me On the Hill.” The name reflects the longing I feel for togetherness, making this an even more meaningful piece.

This hat is designed with approximately 2” (5 cm) of negative ease to ensure a snug yet comfortable fit. When selecting the size, be sure to pick one that will fit closest to your measurements. The crown depth measures about 8” (20 cm) for the beanie version, making it a cozy accessory for any season.

I crafted my pom pom from the same yarn used for the hat, which adds a cohesive look, but a store-bought pom pom would also be an adorable option to enhance your hat.
