Train fair isle beanie
Welcome back to one of my earliest designs: Molly the Train! This time, I'm thrilled to present her on a delightful train fair isle beanie. This unique pattern features numerous color changes, but you’ll only be juggling up to two colors in each round, making it a fun yet slightly challenging fair isle project that is truly worth the effort!
To enhance the design, I incorporated a corrugated ribbing that mimics the look of railroad tracks, which also serves as a charming border pattern between the train motifs. The vibrant train pattern showcases tiny railway engines, complete with two wagons, repeating throughout the entire beanie. You’ll love the whimsical steam clouds puffing off the engine, bringing the whole design to life!
At the top of the beanie, you’ll find a serene blue sky embellished with tiny clouds, and a cheerful sun shining brightly above. This design is infused with nostalgia and creativity, inspired by a beloved childhood toy spinning top featuring a tiny train. It’s a perfect blend of whimsy and practicality, making it ideal for both kids and adults.
