Gauge: Achieve a gauge of 3 stitches per inch using US 11 needles in the Trellis pattern. We highly recommend checking your gauge, especially if you decide to substitute a different yarn, as not all yarns labeled "bulky" or "chunky" are the same size.

Sizes Available: This pattern is designed to fit a range of head circumferences, including Baby (up to 17-18 inches), Kid/Toddler (19-20 inches), and Teen/Adult (22-23 inches). To avoid any confusion while knitting, we suggest highlighting the corresponding numbers for the size you choose throughout the pattern.

Yarn Requirements: You'll need just one skein of either *Malabrigo Chunky*, *KnitPicks Biggo*, or approximately 110 yards of equivalent weight yarn. More specifically, the yarn requirements are approximately 55 yards (50 grams) for Baby, 72 yards (65 grams) for Kid/Toddler, and between 94-110 yards (85-100 grams) for Teen/Adult sizes in either *KnitPicks Biggo* or *Malabrigo Chunky*.
