Twelve Drummers Drumming Do you love the rhythm of music but find drummers can be a bit too noisy? This cozy hat with earflaps is the perfect solution—it not only keeps your ears warm during chilly seasons but also helps dampen sound levels so you can enjoy the beat without the volume!

Hat with Earflaps This stylish hat is designed by first crafting the earflaps, followed by knitting the main section in the round for a seamless finish. It's an engaging project that combines functionality with fashionable flair, making it suitable for both beginners and experienced knitters alike.

MATERIALS To create your very own earflap hat, you will need 2 x 50g balls of Rowan Brushed Fleece, ideally in the lovely shade of Cairn 263. You will also require a pair of 6mm (no 4) (US 10) knitting needles, along with a set of 4 double-pointed 6mm (no 4) (US 10) knitting needles to complete this exciting project.

TENSION Achieve a perfect fit with a tension gauge of 13 stitches and 19 rows to 10 cm (4 in), measured over stockinette stitch using your 6mm (US 10) needles. This ensures your hat will not only look fabulous but fit comfortably as well!

Knitting this earflap hat is a satisfying journey that results in a delightful and functional accessory. Perfect for gifts or personal use, it keeps you warm and stylish all winter long!
