These mitts are fashioned from one of my favorite yarns, Rowan Felted Tweed, celebrated for its exquisite rustic tweed texture. This yarn is slightly finer than standard DK weight, making it an ideal choice for producing warm, snug mitts without sacrificing movement or dexterity. While Rowan Felted Tweed is a fantastic option, you can substitute any wool DK weight yarn; just be sure it's wool rather than cotton for optimal stretch and comfort in the final knitted fabric.
