In my design process, I have always been inspired by geometric shapes, particularly those found in sacred geometry. This scarf design expands on the “seed of life” pattern, which itself is derived from the captivating “vesica piscis” shape that symbolizes unity and harmony. The name “Vesica” embodies this connection to sacred geometry, making this scarf not just a fashion accessory but also a piece of wearable art.

The Vesica Double-Knit Scarf is crafted to include the detailed elements that I envisioned, requiring it to be a bit wider than the average scarf, which ensures it stands out as a statement piece. Despite its intricate appearance, there is nothing in this design that exceeds the basics of two-color double-knitting. Beginners can easily master this technique through my introductory workshop, or similar workshops offered by countless experienced instructors in the knitting community.

Charted dimensions for the scarf are approximately 10 inches wide by 79 inches long, providing a generous length that can be customizable. You can easily add or subtract yarn repeats to create a length that suits your personal style or gifting needs.
