**Construction:** The shawl is knit from the top down, starting at a center neck tab. The entirety is worked in a luscious seed stitch throughout. To shape the shawl, increases are made along the upper edges and down the spine, creating a beautifully flowing silhouette. The ruffle flounce is the finishing touch, added last before binding off, ensuring a delightful finish to your knitting project.

**Size:** This attractive shawl measures 68”/172.5cm in width and 29”/73.5cm in length, making it the perfect size to wrap yourself in warmth or drape elegantly over your shoulders.

**Yarn:** For this project, you'll need Trendsetter Yarns Merino VIII (8 ply), with a yarn weight of 95 yards/87 meters per 50g/1.75oz. The composition is 100% superwash merino wool, ensuring softness and durability. You'll need 8 skeins of the Main Color (#2067 Medallion) and 2 skeins of Contrast Color (#200 Black), as well as 1 skein or about 14 yards/13 meters of a second Contrast Color (#8497 Olive).

**Needles:** To create this fabulous shawl, you'll require US 7 (4.5mm) circular needles, preferably at least 32”/80cm or longer, or use any size necessary to achieve the correct gauge. Don’t forget your stitch marker to help keep your place!
