Wheatberries Shawlette - knitting pattern

Wheatberries Shawlette

$5.19

NOTE: The lace portion of this stunning knitting pattern is currently available ONLY in chart form. You will need to know how to read a chart to successfully complete this design. While I may release a version with written instructions in the future, for now, it's exclusively chart-based.

I absolutely adore patterns that achieve a fancy, lacy appearance with minimal effort! This delightful shawlette features a majority of relaxing stockinette stitches interspersed with a few yarn overs to create a beautiful texture. Once you complete the charts at the end, voila! You’ll have a lovely, pretty, and frilly shawl to showcase. Feel free to substitute nearly any sock yarn you prefer; however, keep in mind that this pattern is knit at a loose gauge to encourage beautiful drape. If you have access to some Hazel Knits, I wholeheartedly recommend using it for an exquisite finish! This shawl showcases an unusual squared-off crescent shape, making it versatile enough to be worn as a charming capelet.

On a personal note, my motivation for creating this shawl comes from a painful reminder of the steep costs associated with veterinary care. After realizing how inadequate pet insurance can often be, I’ve decided to dedicate all proceeds from this shawl to a special savings account specifically for my furry friend’s medical needs. With every stitch you knit, you'll be contributing to a worthy cause!

The sample shown is crafted from Hazel Knits Artisan Sock yarn. Below, you’ll find a suggested yarn substitute that also works beautifully with this pattern. Embrace the joy of knitting while creating a lovely accessory that combines style with purpose!
