Where Are My Bees?
Introducing the bee mittens of my dreams, aptly named "Buzzing Delight"! After being inspired by an iconic Eddie Izzard skit, I initially wanted to call them "Covered In Bees," but some clever Ravelers got there first. Instead, I've chosen this charming name—a phrase I often quipped to my roommates All. The. Time. It's interesting how certain phrases become part of our daily lexicon!
These delightful mittens feature a beautifully crafted design: on the front side, you'll find two adorable bees hovering above a vibrant, tropical flower. The palm side is completely adorned with an array of lovely flowers, adding a whimsical touch. To top it off, the cuff boasts a cute honeycomb pattern that perfectly captures the essence of our busy pollinators. I did face some challenges trying to photograph the rich honey yellow yarn, but rest assured that the close-up images offer the most accurate representation of this stunning color. As for the black accents, they look much deeper than they truly are in the images—so keep that in mind when planning your project!
Finished Size
These mittens measure 4 inches wide and 8 inches long from the tip to the base of the thumb, with a cozy cuff measuring 2 inches in length. If you find that you need to make any adjustments to the size beyond simply changing needle sizes, you’ll be glad to know there is some helpful resizing information included on page 6.
